available. Your download may require prior registration in the app store and installation of the app store software. We have no influence on the collection, processing and use of personal data in connection with your registration and the provision of downloads in the app store and the app store software. The service “aCloud

The “aCloud” is a service of the company

Thallos Software
Michel Mohrmann
Becklinger Straße 7b
29683 Bad Fallingbostel

The Android app requires the use of this service.

What does the “aCloud” do?

The “aCloud” is the heart of the data synchronization. Through it, it is possible to synchronize all data on the Android, iOS, Windows and macOS platforms (this requires the apps of the respective platform). In addition, it serves as a backup system, through which your data can usually be restored at any time, should you switch to another device or accidentally delete your data.

Which of my data is collected by the AquaCalculator Android app?

In order for the app to function properly, optional some personal data may be collected by the app.

These include:

Why is this data collected?

For the login and registration of an account to the service “aCloud” we optional collect the email address.

Anonymous use of aCloud

If you do not agree with the collection of the email address, a fantasy email address can be used instead (e.g. 83682364@acalc.de). Keep in mind that in this case it is not possible to reset the password, as we cannot send you an email through which you can reset the password.

For documentation of the aquariums and animals, optional photos can be added through the Camera App or imported from the Gallery App.

Which of my data will be shared by the AquaCalculator Android app?

In order for the app to function properly, we share all data collected in the app with the “aCloud” service mentioned above.

Why is my data being shared?

Since “aCloud” is a service of Thallos Software, the data that the app collects is by definition shared when it is given to the service. You can find more information in the privacy policy of “aCloud”:
https://www.acalc.de/webroot/en/legal/datenschutz/

How can I delete my data?

To delete your data from the “aCloud”, you must proceed as described in the privacy policy of the “aCloud”. Alternatively, you can contact me and I will initiate the deletion of your data in that case.

Payments

An active subscription is required for regular use of the app. Payments are processed via the Google Play distribution platform.

We do not collect or store payment card information. This information is collected directly by the Google Play payment service. The use of your personal information in payment processing is governed by Google Play’s privacy policy. This payment processor adheres to standards set by PCI-DSS, which is administered by the PCI Security Standards Council, a joint initiative of brands such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, and Discover. The PCI-DSS requirements help ensure the secure handling of payment data.

Analysis to ensure freedom from defects

To ensure the app is error-free, we use Google Firebase Crashlytics (hereafter simply referred to as Crashlytics). Provider is the company:

Google Inc.
1600 Amphitheatre Parkway
Mountain View
CA 94043
USA

In the app’s default settings, Crashlytics is turned off and can optionally be turned on via the settings.

Crashlytics is used for the stability and improvement of the app. It collects information about the device used and the usage of our app (e.g. the timestamp, when the app was started and when the crash occurred), which allows us to diagnose and solve problems. The data is stored anonymously.

The use of Crashlytics may require the forwarding of your personal data to the USA. Please refer to the provider’s privacy policy for the storage period for the data collected in this way.

Crashlytics is used to optimize this APP and to improve our offers. This represents a legitimate interest within the meaning of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR.
